Does anyone else find it so puzzling that there hasn't been more progress in Alek Nathaniel Smith's case? It's deeply unsettling to think that his killers are still out there after such a horrific attack. I've been following this case for a while, and each time I think about Alek's fiancée, Victoria, and their little daughter, Gabriella, my heart goes out to them. I can't imagine the trauma and fear they endured that night, and how they must feel each day knowing justice hasn't been served yet.

It's infuriating and sad that someone with so much to live for had his life cut short so tragically. I was reading more about Alek Smith’s case, and something that really struck me was the courage he showed that night. Getting confronted with a situation like that, just imagine the panic and chaos. Yet, Alek’s first instinct was to protect his family. It’s truly horrifying to think about what he went through, but his bravery says so much about his character—a devotion to his family even in those terrifying moments.
It makes me think about how this tragic event could happen to any of us. It's unsettling how people can just invade your home, somewhere you’re supposed to feel safest. My heart goes out to Victoria and Gabriella. Growing up without Alek must be incredibly difficult for Gabriella, and I hope Victoria has a strong support system around her.
