Hi everyone, I came across Fredrick E. Bock's case and something's been nagging at me. I've read that he was last seen fishing near Pilot Point on the F/V Lady Kolean, and I can't stop wondering about the weather conditions that night. Does anyone know what the sea was like on the evening of July 26, 2017? I feel like if it was particularly rough, it might help shed some light on what could have happened. It's eerie how easily things can go wrong at sea, especially if there's bad weather involved. Any insights or local knowledge would be appreciated!

Hey everyone, I'm new to this thread but have been following the case of Fredrick E. Bock closely. One thing that's really puzzling me is the weather conditions on that night he disappeared. Does anyone know what the conditions were like around Pilot Point on July 26, 2017? I’ve read some reports about rough seas in the area but haven't seen any official confirmation. With the F/V Lady Kolean being an older vessel, I wonder if the weather could have played a role in his disappearance. Would love to hear what others think about how conditions might’ve impacted his situation.

Has anyone looked into the weather conditions the night Fredrick E. Bock disappeared near Pilot Point? I know fishing can be dangerous even when the weather's calm, but maybe strong currents or high winds played a role in what happened. I imagine the conditions at 2240 hours could have made it tough to spot anyone who might have fallen overboard. If there was a storm that night, it could explain why the search efforts didn't yield anything. Just wondering if this angle has been thoroughly examined.
