I’ve been following the Lisa Bunce case, and my thoughts are with her family and friends during what must be a profoundly difficult time. One thing that's been on my mind is the incredible bravery shown by Sandra Andrews. Despite being shot in such a horrifying attack, she managed to call 911 and get help. I can’t imagine the courage it took to do that, especially after experiencing such trauma. Survivors of these situations often don’t get enough credit for their strength, and I hope she’s getting all the support she needs to heal, both physically and emotionally. This case is such a devastating reminder of the dangers of abusive relationships and how crucial it is to have resources available to help those in need.
