It was touching to see people from all backgrounds coming together to not only remember Seption but also to demand change in our neighborhood. It’s clear that this kind of violence can’t be ignored, and it’s reassuring to see so many committed to making Jacksonville a safer place. For those who couldn’t make it to the vigils, it’d be wonderful if we could find other ways to show support, whether it’s through social media, donations, or just spreading the word. Each small act contributes to keeping the conversation going and ensures Seption’s life and the issue of community safety remain a priority. I hope that together, we can bring about the change that’s so desperately needed, not just for Seption’s family but for everyone in our community.
