Has anyone else noticed how the community has really rallied around the efforts of 'Quis For Life'? I attended the last Community Gun Violence Awareness Walk, and it was incredible to see how many people showed up in support. It’s heartbreaking that such a tragic event has to be the catalyst for change, but seeing Marquis’s family push for something so positive is inspiring. I hope the awareness they’re raising can somehow spur more information about what happened to Marquis. Maybe the increased community engagement will lead to someone coming forward with information that could help solve the case. It’s so frustrating that there are still no suspects. Marquis deserved so much better, and I can only imagine the pain his family is going through. Keeping his legacy alive this way not only honors him but could also save lives down the line.
