Hey everyone, I've been following Mallard's case closely and something that's been on my mind is the note found among her belongings. Mallard's sister says it reads like a suicide note, but a longtime friend disagrees, suggesting she might have left voluntarily. It's hard to wrap my head around this discrepancy. Could Mallard have simply wanted to start over somewhere new given all the major life changes she was going through? Estrangement from her husband and a recent breakup... It all sounds so overwhelming. Has anyone else noticed similar patterns in disappearance cases where people just decide to walk away? Would love to hear your thoughts on how frequently this occurs and if there are any signs we might've overlooked here.
