I've been digging into Mary Mabel Hudgins’ case and something caught my attention. The note supposedly left by Mary said, "You can go on alone", which seems pretty vague. Does anyone else find it odd that there weren't more details about where she was going or her plans? If she truly was going to Canada, why not mention it? And if she was struggling with her mental health, would she leave behind her kids without at least a detailed note explaining things? The logistics of traveling internationally, especially while seven months pregnant, without leaving any clues or records seems almost impossible. I'm curious if there was any handwriting analysis done on the note to verify it was Mary’s. It feels like a crucial piece of the puzzle that might not be getting enough attention. Anyone have thoughts or more information on the note itself?

Hey everyone, I've been digging into Mary Mabel Hudgins' disappearance, and I keep wondering why there's so little focus on the $100 she supposedly took. It's a decent amount of money in 1954, but for someone planning to vanish without a trace and potentially leave the country, it seems pretty meager, especially when considering she left her kids behind. Wouldn't she need more for train tickets or other travel expenses if she was truly aiming to get to Canada? Did she have another plan, or was it meant to throw everyone off? I can't help but think the note and money were intentional, but it's puzzling how they fit into the bigger picture. Thoughts?

Has anyone looked into the possibility of Mary planning to go somewhere else entirely? I know George mentioned the possibility of her heading to Canada, but what if she had connections or plans elsewhere? It's odd that she'd leave without a solid plan, especially being seven months pregnant. Did she have any friends or family members (besides her parents) who might have given her a place to stay or a sense of safety? I feel like there's more to her background that might reveal a new angle. Anyone else have thoughts on this aspect of the case?
