Has anyone else been following the details that came out during Jabarie Junior Orelien’s trial? I can't stop thinking about the witness who was casually playing dominoes nearby when everything unfolded. It's chilling to imagine how quickly things escalated from what was presumably just another day. It gets me thinking about how scary it is to be in the wrong place at the wrong time without any control over what you might witness. Sending so much love and strength to Eril's family; I can't imagine what it must be like to relive everything through the trial after such a sudden and tragic loss. The community's role in speaking up and helping bring about justice is a testament to the strength and unity you rarely hear about these days. Really hoping Eril's family finds some peace after this long and difficult process. ❤️
