Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the gathering the night Jeremy Lee was killed, and something that keeps coming up in my mind is the role of social media in these types of situations. It's crazy to think how fast information (and sometimes misinformation) spreads. I can't help but wonder if social media could be both a blessing and a curse in this case. On one hand, it might pressure people who were there to share what they know or it might help the police spot new leads. On the other hand, there's a risk that false narratives could spread, making it even harder for the truth to come out.
I truly feel for Jeremy's family, who have to navigate through all this public attention while dealing with their loss. If anyone here is from Winter Garden or knows the community, do you think social media has been more of a help or hindrance in this case? It would be such a relief to see any helpful tips shared online lead to the justice Jeremy deserves.
My heart goes out to everyone affected; no one should have to experience this. Let's hope the focus stays on finding the truth and honoring Jeremy’s memory.
