In New York City, temperatures ran from about 33.1°F late at night to 39.9°F in early afternoon. Skies were partly cloudy, the air was dry, and winds were fairly strong, peaking near 28.9 mph around noon.
By Albany, it was notably colder: roughly 21.4°F to 32.4°F on the day, with mostly cloudy to overcast skies and winds up to about 17.3 mph. That suggests a cold but not obviously stormy stretch through the Hudson/Mohawk corridor.
Farther west near Buffalo, conditions were again below freezing most of the day, around 26.1°F to 30.0°F, with overcast skies and winds up to about 17.3 mph. The dew point remained low, which is consistent with relatively dry air rather than heavy active precipitation at the observation site.
At the Toronto end, the day ranged from about 15.1°F to 35.1°F, with overcast skies, dry air, and winds reaching about 17.3 mph.
