I've been closely following the case of Curtis Lamar Johnson Jr., and my heart really goes out to his family and especially his young child. It's difficult knowing how violence can leave such a lasting impact, especially when it involves someone so young.
I wanted to discuss the role of community awareness in cases like Curtis's. From what I understand, there wasn't a lot of initial information widely circulated, which makes me concerned about how these instances might be slipping under the radar. Curtis's mom has been so strong in her fight for justice, and it's important to support families like hers through community solidarity. I’ve been following the case of Curtis Lamar Johnson Jr. since it happened, and it’s just so difficult to comprehend. What really sticks with me is thinking about his loved ones, especially his young child who has to grow up without a father now. It’s such a brutal reminder of how one act of violence can alter so many lives.
I can’t imagine how his family feels, especially when the legal process is still dragging on. There’s been so much secrecy around the details, and I truly hope that doesn’t mean there are setbacks in finding the accomplice. The community needs answers, and more importantly, Curtis’s family deserves justice and some semblance of peace.
