Has anyone else heard about the candlelight vigil that was held for Lunide Denis a few weeks after the shooting? I came across some posts from people who attended, and it sounds like it was a deeply emotional and powerful gathering. Friends and family spoke about how she brightened everyone’s day with her smile and had such a promising future as a forensic nurse. It’s so difficult to comprehend how someone with such a loving and caring nature could be taken so suddenly. It's clear that Lunide meant the world to her family and was incredibly important in the lives of her younger sisters. I truly hope that all the love and support shown at the vigil helps her family find some comfort in these difficult times. If anyone knows more about the coordinating efforts for the vigil or other community efforts to support her family, please let us know. It feels important to keep her memory alive while continuing to push for justice.
