I've been following the case of Michel Rice's tragic death, and something that's been on my mind is how brave he was to call 911 after being shot. It takes an incredible amount of courage to reach for help when you're in such a terrifying and dire situation. His last moments must have been unimaginably difficult, and it's devastating to think about the emotional toll on his loved ones. I can't imagine the pain his family felt knowing he spent his final moments reaching out for help. This whole situation reminds us of the urgent need to address gun violence in our communities. My heart goes out to Michel's family and friends, and I hope they find some peace in knowing that justice is being served.
