I came across some information in the case of James Walker Harris that I found both intriguing and sad. As many in Apopka might know, James was well-regarded in the community, especially as a devoted father. From what I’ve gathered, it seems like his children were the center of his universe. In one of the community vigils held in his memory, numerous people spoke about how he was always present at school events, sports games, and never hesitated to lend a hand where needed. It’s really hard to imagine the void his passing has left for his family, especially his kids. I'm hoping, just like everyone else here, that the authorities will soon make a breakthrough in this case. It's unimaginable to think how his kids are coping without their father, knowing they deserve justice and answers. If anyone out there knows anything, no matter how small it might seem, it could really make a difference. Let’s keep talking, sharing, and praying something comes through soon.

I was reading through some information about James Walker Harris's case, and something that really stood out to me was the location of the crime. Hermit Smith Road, near Roosevelt Nichols Park, seems like an area that should be pretty community-driven and safe. It's unsettling to think such violence could occur there, and it makes me wonder if anyone in the neighborhood might have seen something that could be helpful to the investigation. It's clear from everything I've read that James was well-loved by those around him, and I can only imagine how difficult this must be for his family and friends. For a community like Apopka that has been so supportive, it's important we keep sharing information and supporting the family in whatever ways we can. If anyone has any memories or information about that night, even if it seems small, it's worth bringing it to the attention of the authorities. We owe it to James and his family to keep pushing for answers.
