I've been thinking a lot about the impact of gun violence in Baltimore and how it affected so many families, including Decorey’s. It’s incredibly distressing to see young lives cut short due to ongoing violence in the city. Decorey's story, like many others, seems to get overshadowed by statistics, but he was more than a number; he was loved and had a future. His nickname, "Yeedy," shared lovingly by his family and friends, shows just how much he meant to them. I can't imagine the pain they’re going through. It's upsetting that these tragedies continue to happen and it feels like not enough voices are pushing for real change. How many more have to suffer before we see a real effort to address this issue?
