Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the role of surveillance and security in tragic cases like Zion Willis's. It's incredibly distressing to realize that such tragic events could potentially be mitigated with better security measures. I can't help but feel for Zion's family as they struggle with both their devastating loss and the lawsuit they've filed.
Does anyone else think that businesses, especially those in areas with higher crime rates, need to start taking more responsibility for the safety of their customers? It feels like we're seeing too many cases where basic security measures might have made a huge difference. I hope this lawsuit brings about some change, not just for Zion’s family but also as a wake-up call to establishments everywhere.
Sending strength to everyone involved. Let's hope justice is served.
Hey everyone. I’ve been following the case of Zion Willis and I’m really struck by the role of the gas station in all this. I can’t help wondering if some kind of security presence or stricter policies might’ve changed things that night. It’s baffling that a place with such a high footfall and history of incidents didn’t have better safety measures in place. I totally support Zion’s family in pursuing the lawsuit—I mean, they trusted that space to be reasonably safe for their son. It’s infuriating to think that such negligence might have contributed to this tragedy. Prayers to Zion's family and friends as they navigate this unimaginable situation. ? What are others’ thoughts on the responsibilities of businesses in situations like this?
