Noah Jessup, a 51-year-old Native American man, was last seen on August 1, 1979, in his pickup truck parked at a checkpoint on the Yukon River Bridge near Fairbanks. His truck was later found abandoned in the same area with the keys still inside, a detail that suggests an abrupt, unplanned departure. There were no immediate signs of a struggle and no clear indication what happened to him after that sighting.
The trail went cold at the bridge. Investigative efforts have been limited by the scarcity of witnesses and physical evidence, and no further information has emerged to explain his disappearance. The case remains open and unresolved.
If anyone was in the Fairbanks area around August 1, 1979, or has recollections about the Yukon River Bridge checkpoint that could shed light on Noah Jessup’s movements that day, please share what is known.
