I’ve been going through old cold case files and came across Richard Nathan Worley's disappearance from 1978. Has anyone looked into his friends or social circle back then? Sometimes, people can remember seemingly trivial details that weren’t important at the time but might mean something now. Also, does anyone know if there were any local events or incidents happening around Richmond, CA, around March 1978 that might be worth checking into? Trying to piece together anything that might provide some context to where he was before he disappeared.
Hey everyone,
I can’t stop thinking about something odd regarding Richard Nathan Worley's case. I came across an old newspaper clipping that mentioned a local bar he was known to frequent near where he was last seen. The article was really short, and didn't say much else, but it got me wondering about the people who might have seen or interacted with him there on March 15, 1978.
Does anyone have more information on whether this angle was ever thoroughly investigated? Like, were there any regulars at that bar who might have known him or seen something unusual? Sometimes these little details can help jog memories or open up new lines of inquiry.
It's frustrating that after all these years, there’s still so much unknown. Perhaps someone from Richmond back then might remember something, even if it seems insignificant. Every bit helps when cases turn so cold.
Let's keep discussing and sharing any tidbits we find—I’m hopeful that even after decades, we can bring some light to Richard’s story.
