I've been reading through the details of John Wesley Davis's case, and something that caught my attention is the location where his truck was found—Tallahassee Regional Airport. If Davis wasn't planning a trip, why would his vehicle end up in the airport parking lot? Could it have been a misdirection, or maybe someone wanted it to look like he planned to leave town? Also, I wonder if any security footage from that time still exists, though it was 1981, and surveillance technology wasn't as sophisticated as it is now. It's just curious how it seems like such a dead end, leading to more questions than answers. Maybe there's someone who worked at the airport back then or knew of any unusual occurrences on that particular day. Just thinking it might be a thread worth pulling on for anyone still looking into this.
Has anyone else been puzzled by the parking stub found in John's truck at the airport? It seems so odd that there's no record of him actually flying anywhere. Could it have been a red herring or possibly a setup to make it look like he left town? I've been digging through old news articles and can't find any clue that points toward him planning a trip. Also, with his love for the outdoors, it just seems out of character for him to take off without saying a word to his family or anyone close to him. Maybe someone at the airport might have seen something that day? I really hope someone remembers something after all this time. ?️‍♂️
