I was thinking about Eddie Hoskins Jr. today. It's just so cruel for a life to be taken while doing something as simple as walking a dog. Eddie's Chihuahua must be missing him terribly. Pets can form strong bonds with their humans, and I can't imagine the confusion and sadness that little dog must be going through without Eddie. It’s another layer of heartbreak for his loved ones to bear. I hope the community rallies around his family and helps them navigate this incredibly tough time. It's heartening to know that law enforcement worked quickly to find the person responsible, but it's so unsettling to think how random acts of violence like this can impact so many lives. Stay safe, everyone.
