It's truly disturbing to think about the randomness of these attacks and how they left an entire community in fear. I can’t help but feel for Corlenzo’s mother, Cynthia, as she navigates the loss of her son, especially knowing he was just trying to visit his girlfriend and daughter. It’s unsettling to think about how quickly a normal evening could turn into such a tragedy. And to hear about how another life was taken so similarly only days before, it just stresses the importance of understanding what led to these incidents. I'm relieved that the police were able to apprehend Johnny Carnegie, and I hope the families find some semblance of peace knowing justice is being sought. It's vital that the community continues to support them during such a difficult period, and hopefully, we can all work together to prevent events like these from happening again in St. Pete.
