I can't stop thinking about Raniyah's friend who was with her that tragic night. It must be so incredibly difficult to be the only known witness to such a terrible event. I can't imagine the weight they must be carrying—seeing a friend so full of life, with dreams and aspirations, and then losing her so suddenly. I hope they have a strong support system around them during this time. It's deeply troubling that there are still no solid leads or suspects. I just hope that anyone who knows something, perhaps someone who saw or heard anything unusual that night, finds the courage to come forward. It's essential for Raniyah's memory and for the peace of mind of everyone who loved her. Sending strength to all her family and friends.
Does anyone else find it odd that there were dozens of shell casings found at the scene where Raniyah was killed? It suggests a level of aggression or intent that seems personal to me. It's so tragic to think about how young she was, just starting her life and trying to get her hair business off the ground. I can't imagine the pain her family must be feeling, not knowing who did this or why. I hope someone comes forward with information soon, especially with the reward being increased. It's hard to believe there were no security cameras in the area that might have caught something. Has anyone heard if they’re looking into footage from nearby businesses or places? My heart goes out to Chanta Parson and everyone who loved Raniyah.
