I'm really puzzled by the lack of media coverage and public attention on Jerome McDougald's case. I get that June 2016 was a particularly violent month in Baltimore, but does that make Jerome's murder any less significant? His family and friends deserve justice and closure, same as anyone else. It's frustrating to see cases fade into the background just because they happened during a period of heightened violence. Those living in areas experiencing this turmoil shouldn't have to wonder if justice is being served just because the city's resources are stretched thin. I really hope Jerome's case isn't forgotten and that the suspect is brought to justice. Does anyone know if any new leads have emerged recently? Surely someone out there knows something.
