Has anyone noticed how much the lack of street lighting in some areas of SoMa might be contributing to incidents like Ronald's tragic death? I can't help but wonder if better lighting could have served as a deterrent or even helped someone witness the crime. SoMa has always been such a lively area and to think parts of it might be unsafe due to something as simple as lighting is concerning. It’s so important for the city to invest in infrastructure that can support safer neighborhoods and maybe even prevent such devastating events. My heart goes out to Ronald’s family and friends; it's awful to have to search for answers and justice in such a senseless tragedy.
