What do you guys think about the area where William Delano went missing? From what I’ve read, the Humptulips area is pretty dense and rugged, especially back in 1983. Could it be that he got lost or encountered something dangerous while hunting? It seems like an area where it would be easy to go off the path and get turned around, especially if you’re dealing with personal issues and the stress of having a warrant out. I wonder if the environment and the pressure he was under at the time made him disoriented enough that he couldn’t find his way back. I haven’t seen much discussion about how challenging that terrain is, so I’d love to hear others’ thoughts on it!
