Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about David Isaiah Golden III's case and how it reflects the broader issue of community trust with law enforcement in Baltimore. It's deeply frustrating to see another young life lost with seemingly no leads or progress. In neighborhoods heavily impacted by violence, there's often this pervasive fear that prevents people from coming forward with information. I've read that in some cases, witnesses are scared of retaliation or just don't believe things will change even if they do speak up. It makes me wonder what could be done differently to bridge this gap. How can we create a safer environment for people to share what they know without fear? It's such a tough situation because on one hand, you want justice for David and his family, but on the other, people feel vulnerable even talking to the police. It’s just a heartbreaking cycle. If anyone has any thoughts or ideas on how communities and law enforcement can work together more effectively, I'd love to hear them. Maybe there's some hope for change if we can start bridging some of these divides. My heart goes out to David's family and everyone else struggling with this type of loss. Take care, [Username]
