It's deeply unsettling that Lazaro Gamboa’s case remains unsolved almost a year later. One thing that stands out to me is the time of day this happened. 2 p.m. on a weekday is fairly public, and you’d expect there to be at least a few witnesses or maybe passing traffic that could have seen something. It’s not like it was in the middle of the night. I wonder if any nearby businesses have surveillance cameras that might have caught something helpful. It’s so important for the community to come together in times like these and share anything they might know, no matter how small it seems. My thoughts are with his family and friends as they continue to deal with this painful loss and search for answers. Let's hope that someone comes forward soon with the tip that breaks this case open.
