Hey all, I’ve been thinking a lot about the community in Baltimore and how so many people’s voices aren't being heard in cases like Thomas Rudolph Chambers’. His murder just seems to have faded into the background of what was an incredibly violent year for the city. I can’t help but feel for his family and friends who are left without answers or closure. Surely there were people around who saw something on North Payson Street that day. The silence must be due, at least in part, to the deep mistrust between residents and law enforcement, which only makes solving these cases all the more difficult. It’s frustrating to see a cycle of violence that persists year after year and leaves communities feeling vulnerable and unheard. I hope we can figure out how to bridge these gaps and build trust so more individuals feel safe coming forward. If you have any connections in the area, maybe there's a way to encourage those who might have info to speak up? Just thinking out loud. What's everyone else's take on this?
