Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the case of the missing Cessna 401B flight from Anchorage to Cantwell, and I’ve been diving into some historical weather data. I came across reports indicating there might have been a sudden storm front moving through the area around the time they were supposed to be flying. Does anyone else think that perhaps this might have caused unexpected turbulence or disorientation for the pilot? It seems like something that could have caught them by surprise, especially in that kind of terrain. I know folks have mentioned other potential factors, but I can’t help but wonder if the weather played a bigger role than initially thought. Would love to hear more insights or thoughts if anyone has additional info on those conditions!
Thanks, and keep those eyes and ears open.
Hey everyone,
I've been trying to piece together some information about that missing Cessna from Anchorage. Does anyone know if the weather conditions were rough that day? I've read that small planes can be really affected by sudden weather changes. It seems like a challenging route to fly, especially if visibility wasn't great. I wonder if that could have played a part. Any pilots here who can weigh in on what it might have been like for Jack, Donald, Gordon, and John out there? Seems like flying through Alaska can be really unpredictable...
