I've been thinking a lot about James Kiernan's final moments. It’s incredibly difficult to grasp how brave he must have been to stay conscious and provide a description to the police despite his injuries. It’s a testament to his character and strength. I can't imagine how painful it must be for his family and friends to know he was able to describe the attackers but that it still didn't lead to justice. It seems like such a cruel twist of fate. If only there had been more witnesses or clearer evidence at the scene, maybe things would have turned out differently. My heart really goes out to everyone touched by this tragedy. Does anyone know if there have been any unofficial leads or private investigations taken up by family or friends over the years?
