I've been reading about the tragic case of Oliver Peter Molitor, and something that really stands out to me is the role of Kearney's partner, David Hill. I can't help but wonder what it must have been like for him, living with someone who committed such horrific acts. The fact that he was eventually released because there was no evidence of his involvement is significant. It makes me think about what kind of turmoil and fear he might have lived with once he found out about Kearney's crimes. Can you imagine realizing someone you trusted and cared for was capable of such evil? It must be incredibly difficult for Hill to live with that shadow and stigma, even if he was innocent.
