I've been thinking a lot about the friends and neighbors of John Woody Woods. It must have been absolutely terrifying for them during the time of the investigation, knowing that such a horrific act happened so close to home. I can't imagine the fear and anxiety about whether the person responsible might still be nearby or could strike again. It's truly commendable how the community came together, supporting each other and cooperating with the authorities to bring justice for John. Their resilience in the face of such tragedy is inspiring. My thoughts are with them, as they surely still feel the ripple effects of this awful event so many years later. Does anyone here have insights on how the neighborhood has changed since?
