I've been following the tragic case of David Allen, and it's difficult to fathom the immense pain his friends and family must have endured. Every time I read about the victims of Patrick Kearney, I'm struck by the chilling pattern in which he operated and how fear must have permeated communities back then. What really haunts me is thinking about the ripple effect on those who knew David. He was just 27 and had his whole life ahead of him. I can't imagine how it must have felt for his loved ones when Kearney's confession finally came to light. It's a small consolation that Kearney will never again walk free, but I hope it brought some measure of justice and peace to David’s family. Sending thoughts to everyone impacted by such a horrific crime, and hoping that by remembering these events, we can better protect our communities in the future.
