Hey everyone, I came across Gary Stillman's case recently and something struck me as odd. Why was there so little follow-up on his last known whereabouts back in February 1987 in Oxnard? You'd think that with him being 6'1", someone would remember seeing him around town around that time. I mean, Oxnard isn't a tiny town, but it's not a metropolis either. Were there any local spots that Gary was known to frequent? Restaurants, bars, or community events maybe? I'm wondering if maybe someone might recall a detail from 1987 that didn't seem relevant then but could be now. I know it's a long shot, but sometimes these older cases get a fresh breath of life with new connections. I was just reading about Gary Stillman’s disappearance and it's puzzling how little information is available. I noticed that his case was added to NamUs, which is good because it keeps his name out there, but it’s been so many years with no updates. I wonder if there was any significant investigation at the time he went missing? It seems unlikely that someone could just disappear without a trace. Does anyone know if there were any searches conducted back then or if there were any areas of interest? The Oxnard Police Department must still hold hope for leads if they’re encouraging people to come forward even now. It’s tough to imagine what his family has gone through all these years. Would love to discuss any thoughts or theories on this case and maybe we can dig up something new.
