Has anyone else looked into the psychological evaluation of Robert Maurice Bloom during his retrials? It's puzzling to me how mental health can factor into legal outcomes so prominently—especially in such brutal cases. I can't stop thinking about how Sandra and her family must have lived their last moments, and it's painful to realize we might never know the complete truth about Bloom's state of mind at the time of the murders. The fact that his mental impairment wasn't initially considered just highlights how crucial competent legal representation is. My heart goes out to Sandra's remaining family. It must be incredibly difficult for them, thinking a resolution is close, only for it to slip away again because of legal technicalities. Does anyone here have insights into how a case like this might proceed, especially with the possibility of a new trial after all these years?
