I came across something interesting regarding the case of Deputy David Holguin that I haven't seen mentioned yet. From what I've read, his mom and sisters still keep in touch with some of his former colleagues from the sheriff’s department. It seems like they gather once a year to remember David and honor his legacy. I can only imagine how comforting it must be for his family to know that his friends and colleagues continue to keep his memory alive. It’s these small gestures of remembrance and support that must mean the world to them. It's a reminder of how close-knit and supportive the law enforcement community can be, even years after such a tragic event. If anyone has any more insights on this or similar traditions, I’d love to hear about it.
