Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the case of Marlon Harris recently, especially how it reflects the larger issues in Baltimore. What really got me was the fact that there were surveillance cameras nearby when he was shot, yet no clear lead has emerged. It’s so frustrating and must be unbelievably painful for Marlon’s family and friends to know that even with potential evidence, there seems to be no progress.
This isn't just about Marlon—it's about how many families are left in limbo, not knowing why or how their loved ones were taken from them. The presence of those cameras gives me some hope, but at the same time, it highlights the gaps in the system that's supposed to protect people and bring justice. I truly admire groups like Project Cold Case who refuse to let these stories fade into the background. It must be such a comfort for the families to have their support and the awareness they raise for each case.
Do any of you think that more community-based efforts could help solve these cases? It seems like we need a collaborative approach between the community and law enforcement to really tackle this ongoing issue.
Sending thoughts to everyone who remains affected—it's so important to keep talking about these cases and seeking justice.
