Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about how Eva Petersen was a grandmother when her life was cruelly taken away by Jablonski. It’s so upsetting to consider the kind of loss her family must have felt, not just because she was a victim in this horrible crime spree, but also because she was likely a central figure in her family's life. Grandmothers often hold such a special, nurturing role, and to have her taken away in such a violent manner is beyond comprehension. I can't imagine how this impacted not only her close friends but also the younger generations in her family who might have loved and depended on her. It makes me wonder if there was ever any support for them after the fact, or if they were just left to process this tragedy alone. Sending thoughts to everyone who knew and loved her.

Does anyone else find it chilling how Jablonski used personal ads to lure women even while he was behind bars? It makes me so uneasy to think about how vulnerable Eva and her family must have felt, given the manipulation and deceit involved. I've read that Spadoni was growing increasingly afraid of him before the tragedy occurred. It's devastating to think about the fear she must have lived in, knowing the danger that was looming. The system really failed in protecting them both—it seems inconceivable that someone with Jablonski's history could be given another chance to cause harm. My heart goes out to the friends and family who must still feel such a profound sense of loss and betrayal. Curious if anyone else has thoughts on how we could improve protective measures for individuals who find themselves in relationships with known violent offenders.
