Has anyone else been looking into the businesses around Vermont and Leeward during the 1992 riots? It's really sad to think about the chaos that was happening there and how it contributed to Hector Castro's murder still being unsolved. I was wondering if anyone knows more about those retail shops, like whether they were owned by locals and if there were any known security camera systems in place back then. It seems like so much potential evidence might have been lost in the turmoil. My heart goes out to Hector's family—being left without answers must be so difficult, even all these years later. If anyone has any insights or ideas for shedding new light on this cold case, please share. Every bit of information could help in some way.
