Does anyone else find it odd how many people seem to disappear around Nome without any clear answers? I’ve been looking into Kunayak’s case, and it’s really unsettling. She was seen walking near the Nome Nugget Inn, and then nothing. I’m trying to figure out how there were so few witnesses, especially in a small community like Nome where everyone pretty much knows each other. The fact that there have been around 20 cases with similar circumstances involving members of the Native American community only adds more suspicion for me. I can’t shake the feeling that there’s something more going on here, even though the authorities say a serial predator isn’t involved. Does anyone know if there’s been any recent discussion or new insights on this pattern of disappearances? It’s been over 30 years, and I hope Kunayak’s family finds some form of closure one day.
