Does anyone else find it chilling how quickly something like this can unravel? It's so disturbing to think about the fear and chaos Danny, Norman, and their friend must have felt that evening. Danny was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, trying to enjoy a night with friends. It's unsettling to know how the personal struggles of one person, like Drake, can ripple out and result in such devastating violence. I've read that Drake had a history of mental health issues, and while it doesn't excuse his actions, it’s sad he never found the help he needed before it got to this point. My heart goes out to Danny's family and all the others affected by this tragedy. Communities are robbed of their sense of safety, and it’s so important we remember each victim as the people they were, not just part of Drake's story. How are the families and communities, like Morro Bay, dealing now? Has there been any lasting impact or changes that people have noticed?
Does anyone else find it incredibly chilling how this tragedy unfolded largely because of one person's unchecked mental health issues? I'm heartbroken for Danny Cizek and the others whose lives were so senselessly ended that day. It makes you wonder if things could have been different if Drake, or "Crazy Jim" as he was known, had received the help he needed before everything went so tragically wrong. It's just so unfair that Danny, who was simply visiting a friend, got caught in this horrible, violent spree. Sending my deepest sympathies to his family and everyone else affected. It's a stark reminder of how urgent it is to address mental health issues before they spiral out of control. How can communities do better in recognizing and assisting those who might be on the brink before it's too late?
