I’ve been deeply moved by Sigreda’s story, especially considering how young she was and the tragic circumstances of her death. The part that really struck me was the note Saenz left for his grandmother, asking her to take care of his daughter. It’s chilling how someone could commit such a horrific crime and still express care for their child in some way. It’s heartbreaking that Sigreda’s daughter has to grow up without her mom, knowing the awful truth about her father. I can’t imagine the pain both families must be enduring. I hope they’ve found some solace in knowing justice was served, though the loss can never truly be filled. Sending my thoughts to all who loved Sigreda during this difficult time.
