I've been thinking about Marty's case and can't shake off the image of him just sitting there, drawing by the river. It’s so hard to imagine someone so young and innocent being targeted like that. I read that he was a talented artist, and it breaks my heart to think about all the images and creations the world will never get to see from him. It’s devastating that a space where he found peace and inspiration became the very place where his life was taken. Does anyone else here know more about the memorials for Marty or how the community has responded over the years to honor his memory? His story is a stark reminder of the need to combat gang violence and protect our youth. Thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends even after all these years.
