Have you guys been following the Copper River case? It’s such a tragic situation. I was looking into the terrain around O’Brien Creek, and it's wild how powerful that river is. People who fish there often talk about how fast the current can get. I can’t even imagine how quickly things must have turned when he slipped. It makes me wonder about the safety measures in place for those fishing spots. Do any locals here have insight on how often incidents like this happen around that area? It’s such a huge river with challenging access points. Keeping his family in my thoughts.
Has anyone seen the latest updates on the Copper River incident? It's been a few days since the guy fell in while dip netting near O'Brien Creek, and I can't stop thinking about it. I've fished in that area before, and the current can be so unpredictable and strong. I read they used a helicopter in the search, but unfortunately, they couldn't find him.
