But it's also a reminder of the dangerous grip that gangs can have on these communities, making people feel like they have no choice but to remain silent. My thoughts are with Eduardo's family. I hope they find the strength and support they need to keep pushing for justice. It would be great to see more community programs focused on protecting and empowering these neighborhoods so that coming forward isn't seen as such a risk.
