Does anyone else find it unsettling that there still hasn’t been any concrete progress in the investigation into Antonio Merced Flores' murder, even after all these years? It’s such a tragedy that a young life was snuffed out, and his family is left with so many unanswered questions. I’ve read that community activists are trying to keep the case alive, which is admirable, but it must be so frustrating not to have closure. I wonder if there are any technological advancements that could now help with evidence that wasn’t useful back then. In other cold cases, I've seen how new forensic methods can sometimes breathe new life into investigations. I really hope that will be the case here, and the community continues to push forward. It’s important for all of us to keep talking about Antonio’s story and creating awareness. Remembering him could help bring someone forward with the crucial piece of information needed to solve this case.
