I'm really intrigued by the Calhau case and keep coming back to the whole truck situation. It just seems so strange to me. Rick told his wife he would be gone for just an hour, yet his truck was found miles away in Aiea, near a church. Why would it end up there of all places, and why seemingly without any signs of struggle? I mean, if something happened to him during that short trip, how did it not leave any clues behind in or around the truck? It’s like he just vanished into thin air. I wonder if there's significance to its location or if it was just a random place his truck ended up. Is there something about that area that might connect to anyone in his or Miske’s circles at the time? It feels like a major piece of the puzzle that might just need a closer look.
Hey everyone, I’ve been following Rick Calhau’s case for some time now and something caught my attention that I haven’t seen discussed much. I find it strange how Rick's truck was found abandoned so close to the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Aiea. It seems like a pretty random spot, doesn't it? I’ve been wondering if there's any significance to the location. Could it have been a place he'd feel safe stopping at if something went wrong? Or maybe it was just where his vehicle ran out of gas? The proximity to the church strikes me as odd but maybe it’s purely coincidental. Anyone from the area who can shed some light on whether this is a well-known spot for meeting people discreetly? Or is it just an easy-to-reach location from Kalihi? Would love to hear any thoughts!
I’ve been following Rick Calhau's case for a while now and something that's always puzzled me is why his truck was found in Aiea, especially near a church. It just feels so random. For those familiar with the area, is there anything significant about Koauka Street or Our Savior Lutheran Church? I know it’s not far from Kalihi, where Rick said he was going, but it’s not a direct route from Kaneohe. Was it a known meeting spot or perhaps just a convenient place to abandon a vehicle? It feels like there might be more to uncover there. Also, if anyone has insight into the neighborhood or whether it’s had any connections to unsavory activities in the ‘90s, that would be really interesting to know. I just can't shake the feeling there might be a clue we're all overlooking.
