Has anyone looked into the weather conditions on the day Donald, Karen, Monte, and Linda flew out of Merrill Field? Alaska can be so unpredictable with its weather patterns, especially around Denali. I know they didn't file a flight plan, which makes me wonder if they checked the weather forecast before taking off. Was there any indication of sudden storms or high winds that day? It's a vast area and could make the search much more complicated. Just a thought that maybe extreme weather played a role in their disappearance.
