I was reading more about the Goleta Postal Facility tragedy and came across info about Ze Vang Fairchild. It's so sad to know she had such a journey to make it to the U.S., only to face such a tragic end. Her story is a reminder of the resilience and courage that so many immigrants have. It's hard not to feel angered thinking about how security lapses allowed this to happen, especially in a place meant to be safe for employees. I'm hoping the lessons learned from this horror lead to real change in how these situations are handled to protect anyone else from suffering like this. My thoughts are with Ze's family and everyone affected by the unbelievable loss of such a brave and kind person.
