Does anyone else find it odd that Michal Szkodzinski's landlord was the one to report him missing instead of a family member or friend? From what I've read, it seems like Michal wasn't keeping in close touch with others, which could explain why no one else immediately noticed he was gone. But if he really did have family in Chicago, like some have speculated, wouldn't they have had at least some level of contact with him? It's like he vanished into thin air, and with no significant leads after all these years, it's so puzzling. Could there be more to the family connection theory? Perhaps someone there knows something they're not sharing yet, or maybe Michal intentionally left without telling anyone. This mystery keeps me up at night, honestly. Thoughts?

I recently came across a curious detail in the Michal Szkodzinski case that I hadn’t seen mentioned much before. Has anyone looked into the Chicago angle more thoroughly? I’m wondering if there might be old records or people in the area who remember someone matching his description suddenly appearing in the late '90s. It strikes me as odd that there’s a possibility he might have relocated there, yet there’s little to no chatter about any tangible leads or sightings. Given the limited connections he possibly had in Chicago, it feels like there could be an untapped avenue in exploring community memories or hospital records from around that time. I know it’s a long shot, but sometimes the smallest things can spark new directions in a cold case. Thoughts?
